Kristy Gustafson

My grandmother taught me how to sew when I was in elementary school. Everything I made I sewed by hand until my grandmother bought me my first sewing machine. I have always had a love for art and design. I love painting, drawing, crafting and designing clothes. I like to make my designs unique by adding rhinestones or other details such as appliques. I also really enjoy making accessories for the pieces that I create.

When I was young, my family would go camping in the summer. On the way to the campgrounds we would pass farms and ranches. Growing up in the city with lots of people everywhere, I developed a love for open space and fresh air. This is where my inspiration for my line ‘Tumbleweed’ comes from.
